Heal your relationship

Private couples therapy sessions

Seventy-five minutes for the two of you, with a therapist who treats the relationship itself as the one that needs care.

When the same conversation keeps finding you

You know the loop. One of you says the thing, the other one goes quiet, and by the time dinner is over you are both exhausted and nothing has moved. Maybe you are the one who holds the household together, and somewhere along the way holding the relationship became one more thing on your list.

Couples therapy here is not a courtroom. It is systemic, whole-person and non-judgmental, which means nobody has to arrive with a case against the other. The question in the room is how the two of you work together, and what that pattern needs.

Any two persons can come to couples therapy, not just for romantic partnerships. The relationship itself is the client, whoever the two of you are.

How the seventy-five minutes run

Each private couples session with Charli Wright, MA, LMFT is 75 minutes and costs $200. Most sessions happen on a secure video platform, and Charli is licensed to see residents of North Carolina, South Carolina, New Jersey and Pennsylvania from her Charlotte practice.

In North Carolina there is a second option. As the practice's Travel Therapist, Charli can come to your home for in-person couples sessions: $200 virtual, $250 in-home.

The usual way in is the Four-Part Couples Assessment: a session with the two of you, a session with each of you on your own, and a fourth session together to set the path forward. It is linked below, and it is worth reading before you book.

What changes, and how to know it is time to come back

Couples work tends to start with a lot of talking and end with fewer, better conversations. Charli's work is built around that shift: understanding the pattern first, then choosing together what to do differently.

People come back at a life transition, a loss, a rough season of work or caregiving, or the first time the old argument shows up again in a new costume. Returning is not a setback. It is the relationship asking for attention before it has to shout.

Not sure whether this is the right fit? The practice offers a free 15-minute consultation, and you can also call (267) 536-2554 and ask your questions out loud.
